Ambetter Virtual Access

Effective Jan. 1, 2023, select Ambetter providers will be able to participate in the new Ambetter Virtual Access provider network within Michigan. Ambetter Virtual Access is a PCP-centric network in which members are automatically assigned to virtual Telahealth PCPs. In turn, these PCPs can either provide treatment to members or issue referrals to other in-network providers.

No action is required, since current network participation agreements with Ambetter grant selected providers automatic participation. Select providers will receive a letter in the mail with additional information about the Ambetter Virtual Access provider network. Providers may also start getting referrals or be selected as PCPs by Ambetter Virtual Access members.
